  • Hand techniques - closed and open hand striking methods: including palm, fist, wrist, finger striking, and specialised hand training techniques.
  • Leg techniques - fundamental kicks, spinning kicks, jumping kicks, combination kicks, double leg kicks, pressure point kicking and speciality kicking.
  • Joint-locking & throwing
  • Body conditionings
  • Falling techniques and acrobatics
  • Animal-style techniques
  • Traditional Korean weapons

About Our Juniors Class
  • Kuk Sool is a highly supervised and enjoyable activity. The children are never asked to perform any movement that would put them in danger of injury. Our children's curriculum has been specifically designed to accommodate ages between 7 and 13.
  • This curriculum has been modified so children of those ages can successfully learn to perform all the moves necessary to excel. In our martial arts program, your child will improve their confidence, fitness, increase their focus, and develop more self-control whilst having fun.
What Do I Need To Bring For Class?

If you're new to Kuk Sool Won™ be sure to bring lots of water, a towel and loose clothes you can stretch and train in. If you've been a student for a while be sure to bring your uniform, belt and wear an official WKSA t-shirt underneath your uniform or a plain black t-shirt.

About Our Adult Class
  • Kuk Sool will be your outlet for stress and tension. It will increase your stamina, expand your cardiovascular fitness and improve your overall physical condition. No matter what your age, career or interests the movements in Kuk Sool can be graceful as ballet and as strong as metal, which makes them infinitely more interesting than the usual aerobic workouts.
  • In addition to providing a total fitness programme, we train you in defence techniques which enhance your capability to effectively defend yourself.
